Rewarding the human side of travel
The Volotea Travel Photo Awards have brought together a global community of amateur photographers, all eager to capture human stories across destinations within the Volotea network.
We’re delighted by the incredible response and the variety of perspectives shared. From spontaneous scenes to meaningful encounters, revealing those real, personal, and often overlooked moments that define how we experience a place.
Now comes the exciting part: choosing 5 finalists and one winner. It won’t be easy — there’s a lot of great work to go through.

In the Amateur Category,one winner and five finalists will be selected by our jury.

Geographic context
Submissions must depict destinations within the Volotea network and their surrounding areas, within a 100 km radius of airports served by Volotea.

Criteria
- Strong narrative and storytelling behind the image
- Capture human, genuine, and spontaneous moments
- Reflect the authentic and contemporary local character of the destination
- Reveal the human side of travel through real people, everyday scenes, and meaningful interactions
- Avoid clichés, staged situations, or stereotypical representations of the destination

- High resolution (print-ready)
- Title and short description explaining the story behind the image
- Full version of legal terms and conditions
